About the Event

Join the Choices Program and BU’s African Studies Center on a Zoom webinar that will examine the student readings, lessons, and videos found in the Choices Program’s 10-day curriculum unit, Colonization and Independence in Africa. We will experience a lesson or two and discuss ways to implement the curriculum in your classroom. We’ll also take a brief look at two other curriculum titles—Nigeria: History, Identity, and Change and Freedom in Our Lifetime: South Africa’s Struggle.  Participants will receive a certificate of participation as well as a 3-week license to access to the curriculum of their choice.
